I am a curator, historian and blogger, with far too many books and a tendency to bounce when excited. My professional specialisms are French and Italian prints and drawings, and I am responsible for these collections at the British Museum. My personal specialisms are historical fiction, the collecting of 1:12 scale miniatures, and early opera from Monteverdi to Mozart.
